Are you an aspiring dentist or dental hygienist?
Our office is excited to offer motivated individuals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a private practice dental setting through our paid internship program. This internship is open to pre-dental and pre-hygiene students as well as current dental and dental hygiene students.
This is not an observational internship — you will work alongside our team as an essential part of daily operations. Training will be provided every step of the way.
As an intern, you will:
- Assist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Set up and break down treatment rooms, including cleaning, disinfection, and instrument sterilization
- Become familiar with dental terminology, instruments, materials, and techniques
- Gain exposure to practice management software and day-to-day office operations
- Learn how dental benefit programs and insurance work from the inside
- Take digital photos and digital impressions
- Help with lab work, including pouring study models and coordinating with dental labs
For students currently enrolled in dental or dental hygiene programs, we can further tailor the experience to match your training level and interests, including:
- Shadowing Dr. Tran during diagnosis and treatment planning
- Presenting treatment options and cases to patients
- Reading and interpreting radiographs
- Implementing comfort techniques for patient care
